Strengthening Trust in Global Commodity Trade
My Trade Global is pleased to announce comprehensive enhancements to its supplier verification and quality assurance program. In effect from the second quarter of 2025, these updates are designed to give buyers greater confidence and transparency when sourcing commodities through our platform.
What's New?
Three-Layer Verification System
All new and existing suppliers will now go through a three-layer verification process:
Corporate Document Review: Trade registration documents, export licenses and tax compliance certificates will be reviewed by our compliance team.
Physical Facility Inspection: Suppliers with annual supply capacity above 5,000 MT will undergo an on-site inspection by accredited third-party inspection bodies (SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek).
Quality Benchmark Testing: Mandatory laboratory analysis reports for the first shipments of all new suppliers; ongoing random sampling (at a 20% frequency) for established suppliers.
Digital Document Management
All supplier certificates, including phytosanitary certificates, certificates of origin, fumigation certificates and quality analysis reports, are now stored and accessible in our digital document management system. Buyers can access shipment documents on the platform 24/7.
Supplier Performance Scoring
A new real-time supplier performance dashboard is available to all registered buyers; it shows on-time delivery rates, quality compliance scores and response-time metrics for every approved supplier on our platform.
Why Does This Matter?
In an industry where a single quality failure can mean container rejection, financial penalties and reputational damage, these enhancements give our buyers the assurance they need to source with confidence at scale. Our commitment to zero tolerance for misleading claims remains in force.
